This elegant long absinthe spoon is a stainless steel reproduction of the oldest designs of all absinthe spoons. It has heart like shapes on the grill in the middle of the handle used to hold the sugar cube while preparing a traditional absinthe. Drinkers would turn the spoon upside down and lay it across the glass to hold their sugar cube. Once the water is slowly poured over the cube and the sugar is dissolved, you would then use the spoon end to stir the sugar water and absinthe together.
